Fishing Off the Reef
The Roatan continental shelf drops quickly. Within a few kilometres of West Bay the depth reaches trolling range for mahi-mahi, wahoo, yellowfin tuna, and barracuda. Further out, bottom fishing produces snapper and grouper on the reef structure. The season is year-round, with mahi-mahi most concentrated in spring and wahoo running stronger through fall.
The private charter format means your group owns the boat for the day — no mixed parties, no strangers, and full flexibility on where you go and how long you stay. The minimum booking is three hours, but most productive fishing days run four to six. Everything you catch is yours to keep or release.
