Shore Excursions
The best Roatan shore excursions for cruise ship passengers and resort guests — from the secluded private islands of Little and Big French Key to the island's top zipline, all guided by your expat divemaster.
Roatan Shore Excursions for Cruise Ship Passengers
Cruise ships dock at Coxen Hole or Mahogany Bay, both roughly 30–45 minutes by road from West Bay. That leaves approximately four to five hours of actual excursion time in a typical port day — enough for a full private island trip, a zipline run, or a combination of both.
Big French Key and Little French Key are the top choices for private island snorkeling: a boat departs from West Bay, drops you onto a secluded island, and the ticket includes reef snorkeling over live coral with optional wildlife encounters including sloths, monkeys, and macaws. The Roatan zipline runs from a hilltop through primary forest to a beachside finish — roughly 45 minutes for the full set of cables.
Every excursion in this category is private. Patrice coordinates pickup timing around your ship's all-aboard call and has groups back at the dock well before departure. Groups of any size are accommodated.
