Roatan scuba diving packages
West Bay sits on top of one of the Caribbean's top-rated reef walls, accessible directly from shore. Whether you're booking a single shore dive or the legendary shark dive, every session is led by divemaster Patrice.
Diving West Bay Reef
The West Bay reef wall begins roughly 30 metres from the beach — close enough to reach under fin power before the bottom drops away to 40 metres. The site ranks consistently among the top five dive locations in the Caribbean, driven by visibility that regularly exceeds 30 metres and a density of marine life that rewards multiple dives on the same spot.
Shore diving needs no boat fee and no waiting. Multi-dive packages let resort guests and liveaboards log two or three dives per day without rebooking each time. The shark dive is a separate offering: wild bull sharks at a natural cleaning station off Sandy Bay — not a feeding dive, but an encounter with sharks behaving completely on their own terms.
Every dive is guided by Patrice, a PADI divemaster with years of logged dives on this specific reef. He knows the lanes, the seasonal patterns, and exactly where the cleaning station current runs strongest.
