West End Village is the funky town of Roatan, where everything is within walking distance. It’s a hotspot for American-owned dive shops, restaurants, bars, gift shops, and even two chocolate factories. Whether you're looking to explore the underwater world, grab a bite, or buy souvenirs, West End is your go-to spot.
West Bay is famous for its all-inclusive resorts. Here, you can relax on a beautiful beach and enjoy a range of day passes. For $20 at Paradise, you get a consumable pass for food and drinks, along with access to a sun chair. Henry Morgan Resort offers the island's only true all-inclusive day pass for $50. Snorkeling is a must-do activity here—just bring your mask to explore the vibrant marine life right from the shore.
A 30-minute drive from West End brings you to Palmetto Bay, a more natural and serene destination. It’s home to the Island Brewing Co., where you can enjoy craft beer and Texan cuisine. The Cove Restaurant at Palmetto offers a pool and great lunch options. This area is ideal for those seeking a peaceful escape, and many villas here are available for rent, perfect for long stays with friends.
Just a short walk from Palmetto, Pristine Bay offers a touch of luxury with its high-end hotel, golf course, and breathtaking views from the island’s highest point. This location is a must-see for its panoramic vistas, where you can spot five smaller islands, including Fantasy Island, Little French Key, Big French Key, and two uninhabited keys. Travel an hour east from the port, and you'll reach Oakridge, a traditional fishing town known as the East End.
